1. Scope
This policy describes the current version of WA-Dual Space. It provides web account spaces, direct chat links, optional notification archives and local media backup.
2. Notification archives
Only when you enable Android notification access, the app can receive notifications. Its archive filters for WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business and stores notification sender or title, message text, time and source app locally. Notifications may contain personal information. You can turn off message recovery in Settings or revoke notification access in Android settings. Disabling access stops new collection; it does not delete existing archives. Messages deleted before setup, muted messages and messages without notifications cannot be recovered.
3. Media backup and foreground service
You choose a folder through the Android system picker and grant read access. Manual backup and user-enabled automatic backup read supported files in authorized folders and copy them to private local app storage. File names, media types, source identifiers and local archive paths are stored to manage backups and avoid duplicates. Automatic backup uses a data-sync foreground service, periodically checks the authorized folders and displays an ongoing notification. You can stop it using the notification action or the in-app control. Background execution is subject to Android limits. This feature does not upload archives to a developer-operated server.
4. Web accounts and third-party services
Embedded WhatsApp and Telegram pages connect directly to those services. The services receive the information you submit and network information such as your IP address under their own policies. Cookies and website storage maintain web sessions on your device. Account spaces use separate browser storage. Direct chat links pass the phone number and text you enter to the selected messaging service. WA-Dual Space is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp, Meta or Telegram.
5. Camera, microphone and downloads
Where supported, a web feature may request camera or microphone access. Android permission and website access are required before these features can use the device. You can revoke these permissions in Android settings. Downloads and exported archive copies are saved to locations you select or to device download storage. Opening or sharing an archive with another app gives that app access to the selected content.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
Archives, account labels, settings and browser sessions remain on your device until removed. Clearing this app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling removes its private data. Exported copies and downloads outside private app storage remain until you delete them separately. Revoking folder access does not remove copies already backed up. You can sign out of web accounts and manage linked sessions through the relevant messaging service. Android app-data backup is disabled for this app.
7. Advertising and purchases
The current build has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK or active subscription billing integration. A displayed subscription preview does not initiate a purchase. This policy must be updated before adding services that change data processing.
8. Your choices
Notification archives, folder access, automatic backup, camera and microphone permissions are optional. Grant only access you want to use. Protect your device and be mindful that locally archived notifications may include other people's personal information.
